Zeolite Granuals

Postby OriginL on Wed Apr 13, 2005 7:21 am

I add` both charcoal and zeolyte granuals to my filters and my husband swears that when I add the zeolyte granuals, the water remains cloudy no matter what. I rinse the heckout of the zeolyte granuals first, along with rinising the charcoal efore adding to the filter bag. Anyone experienced this or have any opinion? I really appreciate it.

If you don't have an amonia problem useing zeolite/zeolyte/Bio-lyte (all the same) is actually just costing you money for nothing.

Many people have also done away with useing carbon/charcoal for the same reason.

Costs money, does little good. Can cause more problems then it can fix.
