Looking for more options and info on LARGE tanks I think I found the perfect solution!

1,000 GAL. 9´x 2´x 4"Thick Round Poly Stock tanks! they're only 309.99

"The heavy duty blue plastic won’t rust. Great for kid’s swimming pool. Ideal for livestock. 1,000 or 625 ($229.99) gallon capacity."

For that price,no hours of Labor!!no leak testing I think they sound like a plan!
The Tractor supply company down the street says they can get them in a week! Anyone else looking for large tanks this is a cheap option and they have stores all over.

The store locator will tell you if you have a local store

Thats no longer a big tank, its an indoor pond. The reason I say this is because you can only look at the fish like a pond. A tank you look at them from the side view and a pond you look at it from the top view.
I know of some people that have these and they are good if you are looking to breed fish. They allow a lot of space and are cheap to make. why don't you buy a portable swmming pool. they come with a pump and all you would have to is create filtration in the pump and heat.

Large Teeth (or even fins) and portable pools or pool liners just don't work for long :( learned that the hard way before.

It may also be possiable to put a front viewing window on on of these by either buying curved glass (expensive) or cutting one side down a little and makeing it semi-straight,use the cut off peices and a plastic welder to make a straight edge and seemless frame for a pane of glass. **Not cost effective for people who can't use a plastic welder**

I know a few people (me included) use the black or the galvanized aluminum ones. But until now all the black or aluminium ones I've found over 170 gallons were over 34" deep so impossiable to fit through my (or any standard size) door.

a pond you look at it from the top view.
I know of some people that have these and they are good if you are looking to breed fish.

Call it a pond or tank either doesn't matter ;) I'm calling it the #1 idea on my list to keep rhoms in :D , nope I haven't given up on the idea yet, just still looking through options.

TRY? I will! lol :p
Yeah I'm gona try with some of the articles I've read lately, some posts from P-fish and some input from others I've talked to I think it can be done,I think 80% of doing it will be getting the right tank though thats why I've been trying to get as much info on as many different types of big tanks as possiable.

I'm building an army of dither fish as I type so beware! and growing some goldfish out (probally to 6-8").

If the rhoms absoltely fail I'll still have the big tank to try other stuff with. Maybe rays? but rhoms are the cheapest and actually most desired on my list right now.

Besides if I get 30 rhoms and they all eat each other I should end up with one huge rhom and be able to sell it for enough to get my money back
