We have a green terror that is about 7" long, we want to get another fish or 2 to go with him in a 55 gallon tank. Any suggestion about good matches? Thanks!

Hmmm. At 7" in a 55 your GT might be a bit territorial toward interlopers on his turf. A nice pleco would probably be fine, given hiding places. I have one a little smaller than yours in a 75 with a couple of Uarus. No problems, but the Uarus are both bigger than he is. Also have a couple of Hoplo cats with them, which he will chase from time to time. Maybe a couple of clown loaches. Again, be sure there are some hideouts. In a 55 I think I'd lean toward non-cichlid tankmates.

Thanks for all the info. I am a little leery about putting any non-cichlids with the GT, because he is very very aggressive. Even when there are plenty of rocks and hiding places, he will still dig out gravel so that he can get at the other fish.
