Jen, ever tried dipping something in Liquid nitrogen? it's a nice "cooler" ....I remember dipping crackers in it and munching on them to breath fumes out my nostrils etc...heheh yea one bored researcher [img]http://www.cichlidfish.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]

Liquid nitrogen huh? Sounds cool! Just don't accidentally dip your fingers too!! I'll bet if you used something like that though, that idea could be possible. I'm sure there's a couple of ways to do it. [img]http://www.cichlidfish.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]

Hey did your water ever get really cloudy after a partial water change? I cleaned the debris off of my gravel in my tank and replaced the water,(even though the PH was normal the gravel was filthy), and a couple of days later, my water is really cloudy. I hate to do another water change and disturb whatever clouded it the first time, but I also hate to use chemicals. When he was in the small tank, I would just clean the entire tank out, and scrub the gravel. But now instead of 10-20 lbs of gravel, I have 100 lbs. That is something I'm not looking forward to tackling!! LOL

I've used the Clear-water stuff in a bottle, that said clears water in 4 hours, worked pretty good and it's safe. All it does mainly is 'stick" small particles together so filter can do a better job at grabbing them etc....or just do a big bottom-vaccuming and big water change [img]http://www.cichlidfish.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]
