tank help?

Postby snewman1976 on Tue Mar 06, 2007 9:08 am

i just recently aquired a 135g formally reef tank. i cleaned it out really well and now have my south americans comfortably living in the new "mansion". my question is this. it has what i am guessing are bulkheads where the overflow drains into then somehow goes down to this large i think wet dry filter. stuff is all getting into these bulkheads and i am wondering the best way to clean this out?

are you using them, or are you just using standard HOBs and or canister/s? I usually use nipple cleaners for these sorts of things, you can find them in you're grocery store in the baby section with the tippy cups and all that good stuff. They are a flexible wire with a brush on the end, they usually have small and large ones both of which are usefull.
