The tank in thinkin about buying though is over run by algea its very thick in some areas and covers allott of the tank , is there any kind of plant eater i could buy to eat that shit up?

Algae Attack!!
If this tank is not set up or does not have fish go to step 2.
First, rustle up a couple of extra air pumps and get a few airstones going preferably at one end of the aquarium.
Secondly, get your blackest, thickest blanket and cover the aquarium completely so no light can get in. Leave the aquarium lights off, obviously, and in three or four days, without light, the algae will graciously die off.
Live algae in the dark gives off an immense amount of carbon dioxide, which is the reason we put in the extra airstones. We don't want the fish to suffocate. It's OK to lift the blanket for feedings, etc. Your fish will not be harmed at all, although they may be a little confused and discombobulated for a while.
If the process has not completely wiped out the algae, simply repeat.

You're thinking about buying his aquarium?
Well, you'll have to empty it to move it, scrub everything while it's out of the tank. When you put it back in and add clean water, it will sparkle! And the algea will take a while to grow again. I like a magnet scraper for an algae remover, but it releases it into the water instead of removing it.

Hey thanks for the blanket idea i might try it, but will the algea detatch itsefl or will i have to scrapeit? I would like to find a fish that would eat it trhough

Try some CLR, and then chlorine, or other stuff, if doesn't come off by itself help it with a scrubber 
then rinse off very well with water and let it dry in the sun, then rinse again with water and set it up

Sorry to say but no fish will eat all of that. They can help control it to a degree but are no answer to that. =(
