Hey but myself included.....ok now I'm working on amount of points to give per forum. I will give more for the empty forums to get them going. Also , looking for alternative to "Points" was thinking of calling it "Dullars" or "Dollars" or "Money" , what can you think of to replace "Points" with. Maybe "Nuggets", "Gold", "Pesos", "Coins"....
The Points/Coins will be able to be used as Coupons, ie redeemable for certain ITEMS maybe....Perhaps When Placing an AUCTION you can ASK for someone to pay you in FORUM POINTS/COINS or give them REBATE for some points, ie as kind of COUPONS to use toward lowering REAL DOLLAR amount of auction or Classified AD. What do you think?

Tell me you didn't notice the "Points" thing under your Posts: ? And also the "Store" link at the top of the first forum page... and the number at the top saying Store:number

Well if you're an admin, login to admin panel and look at the store options, don't change anything please...then also take a look at

Chris I sent you a PM with an example of possible uses, tickets, fines, fines for bad language in forum etc.....fines for malicious badtalk etc.....anything to keep the user's Dullars/Points down so they don't get richer than us Anyway, let me know what you think of this money/coins/dullars or Points system whatever you wanna cal it. Again everytime you post you will get more points, just check under your Posts number. Some forums give more points than others, amount given in each forum subject to change bla blah....

so the admin and moderators are the only ones that can take away the points from the members? How do we take points from someone and send the parking ticket thing like you sent me and about gave me a heart attack?

Yea, now I'm not sure if moderators can give/take away Points, some moderators should try. I know that Admins can though. Hahhah and about the parking ticket thing unfortunately it's not automated, I just took soem points away from you and then sent you the PM message. If i have time maybe i'll work on an automated system to Fine users etc....did you check out the "Store" link? basically users can rack up points by posting etc...as seen in the admin panel of the store....and they can use their points to BUY stuff from the store, or maybe to BUY stuff from OTHER users on the forum....maybe buy stuff on auction and ask for forum Points/Money instead of real money or a comibnation of both, ie give rebates/coupons, take payment in both real money and Points/forumMoney. For example, Boat for auction, miniumum Bid $1000, will accept upto $400 to be paid by Forum Points. But at the ratio of 10Points=$1 real dollar. BID NOW! Then the buyer can give you $4000 of their Forum POINTS and you will credit them $400 of real money so they give you $600 real money to buy the boat and you use their 4000 Points they gave you to buy stuff from other members or from the STORE: http://www.cichlidfish.com/portal/forums/store.php?action=main
