Totally new to fish, my daughter is 3. We were at WalMart to get a few lil neons and tetras. Something hopefully easy. So while I'm looking at the fish, I hear " mom, what's wrong with this one " and look over to see a large orange fish laying under the filter on his side. I told her that one was dead and we would look at another one. The next thing I knew that "dead" fish was "kissing" my daughter at the front of the tank. It was in the tank alone, I thought it was prob sick...but bought it anyway cause she LOVED it. This was Sunday, today is Wednesday and I have yet to see this fish eat. "Billy" hides in the corner and lays a lil crooked most of the time. I have tropical flakes and some freeze dried shrimp. He doesn't look sick, his lil fins flutter quickly and he'll dart away to the other corner sometimes if you startle him. If anyone can help me help Billy that would be great. He is cute, he was sold as a parrot cichlid. I have a pic I can email if it would help. Thanks for your help. Jessica, Darby and Billy!
