skin disease

Postby oscar andy on Sun Mar 31, 2002 5:33 pm

Ok remember my male oscar that was acting lethargic? Well for a while he's had a few white patches, under his pectoral fin(Thats the clear one under his gill right?) At first I thought they were just a few missing scales from fights, but today I noticed that there were alot more of them and they went all the way up to his lateral line, and the looked more like little welts, what are they, he's realy not active and I don't want him to die! What should I do? Please help!

A wise fishing guide once told me "catching fish is just like picking up girls at the mall" I replied "that is true, but with the girls your not going for the big ones"

try using some melafix which should solve your problem.also try adding some aquarium salt to your tank after each water change.

great expectations are things that refuse to materialize and a promise never kept.
