Getting them to tango...

size difference (is a big boy better?)

Postby v_isa on Wed Feb 13, 2002 6:59 am

I have what i believe to be a pair, male and female tiger oscars but the male is at least an inch smaller than the female...he has no competition, and she's been a pretty lonely and desperate girl till he came along, do you think he's too immature to breed? He was estimated about 1 year old, she is 1 1/2 to 2 years... i'd post picture but cant work out how to here...

He should be fine. Most oscars are ready to spawn at 8 to 9 mounths.
