Removing algae’s on plastic plants!

Anyone now how to remove those algae’s on plastic plants? Does it help to boil them, so the algae’s fall of?

take it out and scrub it. best way to go. if you boil it it helps a little, but not a whole lot. you might end up warping the plant and stand.

Do not boil your platic plants. Some plastic plant have a thin piece of metal at the base so you can bend them to look better. If any of the plastic comes off, the metal will be exposed and start to rust, which won't be good for the tank. Buy a "Scotch Brite" green scrubby and a little elbow grease and the algea will come off. Then just rinse well because some fibers do stick to the plants.
