RD breeding!!

Hi Andre,
My RD's eggs took about 2-3 days to get to wigglers, then the female moved them into a cave that she hides in,, i was worried she had eaten them because it took nearly another week after that before i noticed any free swimmers,, after that i noticed i had several hundred..... and the Parents are only small, i cant imagine the ammount of fry you would get out of full grown RD's,, Hope you have lotsa fry growing space Image

3 days have gone they have now hached Image And yes there is ALOT of fry, more than I have had with any of my other cichlids. The parents are realy agressive now, they attacked my hand yesterday! Im going to try to feed the fry with "artemia", and making that issnt easy.

yeh they can get pretty nasty,, I cant even get my hand a few inches into the water with out being attacked, let alone near the fry...
I am luck with my RD tank, it has a alot of nice algae growning on the back wall, i dont bother cleaning it off like i do the other sides, and the fry eat that,, they are still with the parents at the moment, the back wall now has several small round spots completly cleared of algae,, Who needs a pleco ay!!
