Python syphons and Oscars

Postby dorrmann on Mon Feb 28, 2005 1:15 am

I did a forum search, and read all the comments on the Python syphon system. They seem really positive.

Anyway, we all know how messy these little buggers are, and without trying to be gross, we know how big their poops are. Does anyone on here use these for their Oscars, and does it have enough suction to suck out the big crap?

Thanks in advance!

Python syphons and Oscars

I use a python syphon system and it works well...especially for re-filling the tank. I did notice that the syphon seems to drain slower than I liked so, I run the house outside and let the dirty water run into the yard. Then I reconnect to the tap and fill the tank. If you choose to do this you will need to conncect to the tap to get the syphoning started (unless of course you would like to suck on the hose :D ) It is really nice not having to haul buckets to and from the tank....well worth the money!!!:)
