I HAVE A 4 INCH AFRICAN CICHLID THAT IS VERY MEAN. I HAVE HAD OTHER AFRICAN CICHLID IN WITH HIM AND ONE BY ONE I FOUND OUT THAT HE HAS BEEN SUCKING THEIR EYES OUT. IS THIS COMMON? SOMETIMES I THINK HE JUST WANT TO BE THE ONLY ONE IN THE TANK?

Hi, G. First of all, the eye thing isn't unusual for cichlids. I've seen lots of them use it -- my reading is that their intent is to kill. Couple of questions for you:

What size tank is he in?
Do you have a picture of him that you can post for us?
