cloudy water

i have a albino about 3 or 4 inches and a red just a bit smaller then him in a 55 gallon with a pleco. uhm can any one tell me why my take always looks a bit cloudy and how i could fix that??

Cloudy water can be the result of any number of causes. It could be an "algae bloom", floating algae. Or simply the result of feeding, especially in Oscar aquaria. Limit the lighting to your tank; block the sun, turn your lights off earlier, etc., will solve it if it's algae; switching brands of food and/or increasing GPH in your filtration will help if it's "other". --Mark:cool:
