oscars and tilapia

i av got two 2' oscars n im thinking to get one tilapia (almost 3') into my tank ( 75 galons) does any anyone have the same breeds together? n do you think they both get on well i know they might fight sometimes but i just dont want them to hurt each other ..

They'll be fine for about 2-3 months, then watch out! I'm assuming you're talking about a Tilapia buttakoferi -- these are the ones I see most often in shops. Gorgeous fish, and ike most cichlids, there are individual personality differences, but these guys have a rep as being the baddest boys on the block. Also, that 75 will be OK for the two O's when they get their growth, but they won't want any company.

thanx four your reply dan; yes im gonna get buttakoferi; i woz planning to get cassina or sumfink ( grey ones) but its so hard to find them; ill be changing the tank in a year n get something around 110 gallons so i think it will okey for every one; thanx again...
