trying to figure out a fish

Postby guitrz6 on Fri Oct 14, 2005 3:55 am

I have a african cich that looks kinda like a juvenile frontosa, (no lump on head) but instead of white/black, he is yellow/black. His belly also gets very bright orange at times too, but not all the time, mainly when he is eating. Does anyonen know what he might be. He is full grown, and about 5 inches????

Without a pic I can only speculate....
possibly a Metriaclima crabo ("Bumblebee")?

That's a Zebra Obliquidens (Astatotilapia latifasciata) from Lake Victoria.
