Does anyone know anything or have any info on a red eyed reef crab my mom has a salt water tank and has found out that she has one living in her live rock

was it a hitch hiker that came in with the live rock? If so it is better say than sorry, I would remove it. A lot of the hitch hikers are dangerous to your reef or fish.
One question though, does it have hairy legs?

Yes it was in the rock but the rock is over two years old so he hasn't caused any problem so far he was actually just noticed. Yes i belive he does have hairy legs not really sure he is in my moms tank i haven't seen him she says he is a black color about the size of a nickle with bright red eyes

hmm, well there are so many different craps that come on live rock, that most won't have profiles. The good thing about them is they will eat the fish waste. If its not causing any problems you can leave it but just keep an eye on it.
You don't need to feed it or anything like that, it will search out its food off the rock.
