Gettin' a new fish

Postby tug on Wed Sep 07, 2005 12:25 am

Just got the quarintine tank up and running tonight. This Friday I go pick up my newest fish. A Royal Pleco (not sure of the L classification). I've been wanting one of these for so long it aint even funny. The guy also has a beautiful Golden Nugget that I might just have to grab as well. The price is fair (about 35$) so I sealed the deal over the phone. I have been in his store several times so I'm aware of how he keeps his tanks and fish. Well just wanted to get that out... let people know,or make them jealous. Is anybody jealous, cause if you are it would really make ME happy. :D

You guys know I'm just kidding.

Tug,
I'm happy for you. I have been waiting a long time and looking hard for a Turquoise Severum and I know I will feel as you do when I find it. I like to hear stories from happy aquariuminists (sp?). Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the info Craig. One question for you, would it be o.k to just quarintine them together for about 1 or 2 months? If I do get the Golden Nugget he will go into a different tank than the Royal. I just don't want to set up two tanks for just quarintine.

Thanks again, tommorrow is the big day!!!:D
