Hello, I need a little help

Hi, my name is Cheryl. I am just starting out with oscars. I have been breeding fancy guppies for the last year and a half. I have now grown in as far as getting started with something different. I have 4 oscars about an inch long, 2 are albino oscars. I am planning on buying 4 more. Can anyone tell me how to tell the male from the female? I have tried and I can not tell. Will a male and female pair up together? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry missed your post, welcome to the forum. You will not be able to tell the sex of small oscars unless you sex them by venting, ie judging by their genital papillae.
