My oscar is alone in his tank, no other fish. Just gravel rocks . Feed him pellets and dried shrimp. Eating a bit yesterday, not enough. Please advise of possible medication for this color change (looks like a water mark when dry). Thanks.

HI, Pinkky. Were you able to get some water parameter readings for us? We need a little more info to go on. A pic would be great.

Thanks. The amonnia test are normal and the water ph is fine. So, what is your guess. He has like a water mark, when a piece of paper gets wet and dries. It leaves a water mark. It looks a bit smaller now, but have no clue what it could be.
Sorry my camera is busted with film inside, can't take pictures. Please advise on possibilities. Thanks.
Could MelaFix work?

Probably won't hurt anything, and it might do something good. What are the actual readings on the tests? Ammonia & Nitrites 0, I hope. How about nitrates?

The readings are 0. Don't have nitrates test kit, so don't know. I started treating him with MelaFix and I see some improvement. The size of the marks are smaller. So, thanks for the imput, I'll keep you posted on the improvements which I hope they'll be soon. Thanks again, is great to have someone at hand you can get a quick answer and possible solution to Oscar's issues. Thanks again.
