Setting up my tank

In one of my tanks I have a Greek theme background and a couple of white statues (one of them laying on the bottom broken), it looks like a flooded city. Of course theres some soft plastic plants too. You do have to be careful that you don't put something in that will give off harmfull stuff in your tank... like rocks from outside, or shells.

Decoration depends entirely on what kind of fish you want to keep. Sometimes stuff like shells can be a good thing, if your keeping hardwater fish. Also, the size and temperment of the fish can determine what you use for decoration...

What do you plan to do with the tank?

I think you are putting the cart before the horse. I agree with Deepseafisher, determine which fish you want first then you can set up the tank according to their needs.
