Weclome to the Forums, convicts_flo! Its good to have you around.

Yep. You know that the eggs have gone bad if they turn white-it shows that the eggs are either un-fertilized, or have fungused.

The good thing about convicts is that they will take care of the eggs all on their own. All you really need to do is keep up with water changes...the parents won't be too happy about seeing the syphon in the tank, but they'll be all-right...lol.

You'll need to make sure that you get some flake food that you crush up really small for the fry. The parents will crush a lot of it for you, but the more you crush the food, the easier it will be for the fry to eat.

There's a lot more information about convicts spread through-out the forums. I'm moving this thread to breeding discussion, as its a better place to keep it. You can look here in the breeding forum and find a wealth of more information on breeding convicts.

Good luck with your fry.
