So I finished the 11th grade on june 16, i actually went tothe last day of school to see what my grades where so i wouldnt be surprised when my grades came out a week later. so i go to all my classes and i'm getting A's and B's and a C. I go to Intermediate Algebra to see my grade( i was questionable about this one, been up and down). The teacher had the grades off all his class on the desk so you can see them. So i find my period and my name and i see a C(74%). So i'm like okay i got a 3.28gpa So i tell my mom and my girlfriend who wasnt at school. then when the grades come to my house, i look at the grades and i see this big fat F(also the comment low test scores) for intermediate algebra. i'm llike wtf, i saw a C by my name on the paper and the teacher said i did good during the school year. and on the test i've gotten B's and C's.

the grades teachers have on the last day of school are pretty much final. and i know i didnt look at somebody else's name because the grade is right next to your name and there's space between names too. So do you guys think its a mistake or did i really get an F. my mom believes i got the F even though i told her on the last day of school. summer school starts on monday(tomrow) and i was going to go up there and talk to my councelour and teacher(if he's there) and see if i can look at my grade. because this F is going to look bad at the colleges trying to enroll me. becasue the 11th grade year is the year they look at. the teacher also lets his student aides do the grades, and i heard that one of his student aides changes grades for people who she does and doesnt like.

so can i get ya'll opinion on this, just to want to see what you guys think about this.

Of course you need to go talk with your teacher and maybe counselor etc asap! They can change it if there was any mistake made. Good luck with it!

I agree with joe, check into it. No one is perfect, and if a mistack
happened, the soon it is brought to their attention the easier it is to find out what happened.
Ask them to show the record of your grades, through out the year, and if there was a mistake, it will show up immediatly from them double checking your grade scores throughout the year.

i went to my school today, to see what was up. and the only people wasthere were attendance people. i asked them if the councelours were there and they said they were gone for the summer. and the the teacher i had is teaching at a different school. i called that different school, and he's nto going to be there till wednesday(today is tuesday). my mom told me told me to sign up for summer school for the class just in case it wasnt a mistake (i think it is, but better safe than sorry). there was a gang of drama up there but i eventualy got the class. now i got to call my job andtell them i need new hours (just started full time) and if it was all a mistake (pray to GOD) i can just drop the class.

Contact the principal of the school, the records do not go with the teacher, they are in your school file, which will still be at the school.

Bring your parents in with you, the school administration don't care about you but they are scared of your parents. Tell your mom to go and chew their heads off, they may pass you or give you that C regardless just to get rid of your parents
(Have them DEMAND that they meet with the teacher and that all your data/schoolwork be produced and that the teacher show how he/she came up with the F.)

today (wednesday) me and my mom woke up at around 630 to get up to millikan(my highschool) to talk to the principal, before summer school started. but we got there too late and the principal was gone, but we talked to this one lady named mrs jane/james. and she looked at my grades on the computer and she said it was an F in the class. so we left, and i went to cabrillo(summerschool) and on the way over there i was starting to think that i actualy got an F. so my mom talked to my summerschol teacher and said i was gona leave early to go to wilson(where my math teacher is teaching for the summer) and they were acting like straight b i t c h e s over there and wouldnt tell me the room number of the teacher. so i had to wait with my mom for over 90mins. and when summershcol was over, they still didnt give me the room number but they called him and asked he wanted to see me. so i told him my situation and he said okay. he told us to meet him at his room in millikan and we will look at the grade. so we get over to his room, and look at his grades. and gues what i had a C, i was RIGHT . i was so freaking happy i did a backflip off a desk. so after that we go to the office and he gets paperwork to get the grade fixed. he aplogized and everything and told us sorry for all the trouble. so when i got home i droped my summer school class before my 10hours was up. it took us all morning to get all this straighened. and fell asleep.

i'm so happy i was correct about my grade. thank you for all the help and advice you guys. appreciate it alot!

As Joe said, an excellent lesson in lifeskills. If you are sure about something, don't let others tell you different. Make them prove it!
