Needed Fish Information...

Well, I have a Pacu, Oscar, and three Tinfoil Barbs. My fish generally get along well, but I noticed something a while back about my fish's behavior. My Pacu likes to chase the Tinfoils around the tank. I dont know if it's territorial or some kind of method of having fun. My pacu will stay in the middle of the tank, and then the tinfoils will swim by and the pacu will chase them. The tinfoils don't seem too nervous around the pacu, and the pacu doesn't always react to the tinfoils. I'd like to make sure that everything is peaceful and that this is nothing to worry about. Also, there appears to be very little damage to the tinfoils. I see an occasional nip or two on the fins, but I think those may be from the oscar's version of "fun".

How do you know if you're Plecostomus is eating enough? I haven't had my tank for very long, and I dont know if there's much algae growing in it already. It seems fine, but I can't tell for sure if there's anything wrong. I've tried feeding it algae wafers, but the other fish always go for the wafer and I don't know how to stop them! It takes a long time for the pleco to find it, and when he does find it, the other fish usually move it or pick it up in its mouth. Any suggestions?

I'm new, so....sorry for the essay.

Feed the pleco after you turn off the lights for they night, they're more active at night then their tankmates.

Sounds like the pacu wants a territory - see the replies to your other post
