Do you have a collection point or picture on the All-Reds? I might be interested in some if you have fry available. Thanks!

Somebody had babies, and several adults died!!!

Postby goldapple on Sun Dec 12, 2004 12:44 pm

Help, I'm not sure what happened....must not have been paying attention, but on Friday morning, turned on my lights (35 Gallon) and saw two stripped fry swimming around, hugging the rocks. I was very excited untill I realized that 4 adults were dead amongst the rocks. Two Lemon Lamps., a Julie Marleiri, a Lamp. speciocis(?),. They did not have signs of being beat up, so I think they may have eaten the fry and died.

The original fish in the tank were 1 Aulonocara Hasbaenchi and 2 females, 2 catfish, 2 Lemon Yellow Lamps, 1 Lamp. speciocis, 2 Brevis Lamps, 2 Julie Marleiri.

Now the remaining fish are acting very timid, and the Aulonocara (Red Flush) Peacocks are hiding. And I don't see any sign of the fry.

Who babies are they, and why did the others die!!

b Severums. A green with a gold. Can't really take any credit. Unplanned parenting -- at least on my part. They're in a 210 with a couple of O's, a Juripari, and a TSN. Have removed some of the fry to a 10g, but mommy & daddy don't make it easy to do.

Also unplanned youthful indiscretions with :

P Goldfish
P guppies, mollies, platies

by the way, every time I try to use a capital b this thing flips me to a bookmark screen!
