Sad news :( female oscar jumps out, found dead

And they were such a great couple too Image although I really can't say the male's in mourning, was just interested in food when he saw me. This sucks, why couldn't one of the male fish jump out instead, like the oddball one I have Image ........yea I know, should of had a lid on but I never had a lid on for quite a long time and they were just fine, could be though that the "garage" spooked them since it doesn't have the natural gradual daily light fluctuations....

Sorry to hear that Joe. Did you try to rehydrate? I had a suicidal platy once. It was on the floor for at least 25 minutes, and just for the heck of it, I put it in a glass of water, and after about 10 min, it started moving again. It lived another 6 mos till a disease hit my tank.

Yea, I think though I will try to trade in one of my males for a female. I still have one breeding pair and now two males. So maybe I'll have to visit local stores again and see if I can find a female to trade in for....hard decision though, i'll have to decide which one to trade out Image , hmmm maybe I just let them duel it out and see who the winner is Image
