OK! After a vacation and much thought, why don't we make this forum an open discussion about books? Any kind of book -- fish books, fiction books, non-fiction -- anything! Whatever you've read that's made an impression, or that you think the rest of us might like -- tell us about it!

I'll start. Is anyone familiar with Randy Wayne White's Doc Ford series? They're pretty well done, and of interest to the fish-keeping community because the protagonist, Doc Ford, is a marine biologist (among other things), and that theme is intertwined within the stories. If you have time between water changes, I recommend them.

Well I love reading from a book, nothing like the relaxation of laying in bed reading a book. As for ones on fish, well I have been doing the online reading as of late. There seems to be so many diffrent ideas, or approach's, I get lost in the sea of web sites. Been a long time since I read a fish book. I have never heard of the Doc Ford series, but will look now.

There are several novels in the Doc Ford series. A good intro is Shark River.

Pictures, eh? Now there's a worthwhile thought!
