Has anyone ever heard of this fish? I saw one at the LFS. It looks like a Pearl Gourami with a checkerboard pattern all over it. A really different looking fish!

unfortutunatly their a dyed fish. (sounds like you got a realistic looking one, there are come with pink circles and triangles and stars and all sorts of bollocks.)
same principle as painted tetras and glass fish:(
avoid them at all costs and tell everyone else to aswell.
isnt it just great what people will do for a few quid:confused:
