I just bought a new tank 75 g. My buddies needed more room. I have 2 Oscars, (? on sex) One is 8" the ohter close to 10" . I know that is a lot of tank for two Oscars. What others will do good with out harming them? We had a bad experience with a red devil not too long ago and I really dont want to go through that again. It really ate up one of them bad? Our fish experts here are not to expert at tanking please help:)

Congrats on new tank. 75 isnt alot for 2 Oscars really but it can work with very good maintanence and water testing. I wouldnt recomend adding anymore fish,you have a good bioload going as is. That being said , if you want to add a fish[1] a Jack Demsey are nice and go good with oscars or a few[2,3]silver dollars. Be ready for a water change every week or 2 a week maybe depending on the nitrate readings on test kit[hope you have one of these] HTH any questions post back ill be around.

I f you have 2 Oscars now id say noway.Theory is 50 gallons to one oscar.
