I just wanted to say a couple things about this site. I have only been a member here for a short time but have really enjoyed this site. The people who devote their time and knowledge here I have a great deal of respect for. The entire member list seems to be a great bunch of people.

I have joined other sites where the knowledge of fish is second to none, but they weren't nearly as nice to talk to. To many members and not enough one on one.

I really like the fact that you all hold the fishkeeper first in your minds, not the size of the tank and/or the things that person is doing wrong. You guys (and gals) seem to treat everybody with respect not just those with the biggest tanks and the most experience. You remember what it was like when you started the hobby and didn't have all the answers.

So in closing, I'd like to say thank you for your understanding and your dedication to this hobby that I love.

We're glad we could help man! It's the least I could do to give back for all the help that I got when I was starting out.

Good note! I am grateful for the sence of "family" that we seem to have here, too, in addition to the level of expertise. --:cool:

I've gotta agree with Dr. Octagon. I would have gotten no-where without this site and would probably be the proud owner of no aquarium at all. If you really want to show your apreciation for the help we give, stick around and learn, and then help people the same way that you've been helped. Thats what these sites are for. I guess I'm here to join the chorus. Thanks for the help.

And maybe we got lucky and picked the right talent, ie mods, admins etc..

Well I must say I plan on being a member of this site for some time. I remember the early years of the hobby, finding and reading any book you could get your hands on. Not to mention all the times of me boring my family and friends with stories of my fish. So I think I've found a site that will appreciate the knowledge I have, and will allow me to help others that might be going through the same things I/we have already gone through.

As far as the mod. selection I think I'll be the JUDGE of that!!
HAHAHA just kidding LOL.

lol god know's I bore my family with stories of my fish also. When you are excited about something your fish does you just need to tell someone.
