Mozz Firefox

I tried Firefox when I had an MSN 56k connection and decided to stick with Explorer . . . The tab feature is a real pain when downloading several pages at once. Now I've gone to a cable modem (Roadrunner) and tried Firefox again, it rocks! So now I'm joining the Firefox bandwagon --Mark:cool:

After I swithced to Firefox from IE I never turned back. IE was a living hell for me. My computer is still feeling the affects of IE from all the spyware that runs with IE. Whenever I would be using it windows would be popping up everywhere. I'm sure there's an option to stop pop-ups now, but I'm sticking with Firefox.

Never tried Opera. I'll have to try it out one day.

And I actually really like the 'tabs' used by firefox etc...I think it's a lot better than having tons of undecipherable IE icons on taskbar.

The Tab feature is especially cool when doing searches -- Yesterday I was looking for info on the Nicaraguan Cichlid (Green Flash Cichlid), Yahoo'd in the name. When five or six promising websites appeared in the list, I just dragged the links up into the tab area and Firefox opened all the pages at the same time while leaving the Yahoo search results open -- then I just clicked on the tabs to go from info page to page. Very convenient!:D

But where's my glow? The glow we added to our user names appears when I use IE to look at CichlidFISH, but is not there when using Firefox?!?

Didn't know you could drag the links and have them open...cool. Not sure why the highlight doesn't work....look at the page source ;)

Oh my, you are right, it doesn't glow with Firefox. I still have Firefox on my laptop. :D

There are a few problems that I found after using Firefox that wasn't there with IE. I gave it about a month without using IE to try to be fair, I just can't make myself like it.

Ummmm doubt it, I have been online for 9 years and I haven't gotten so infected that I couldn't fix it. I keep my computers routinely scanned. :D

By the way, talking about scanning, I highly recommend Spy Sweeper from Webroot.com , I found it caught a lot that lavasoft adaware didn't.

I use a number of programs LOL

First I scan with Lavasoft adaware, then I scan with Spybot and sometimes I run Bazooka behind that.

Well, then it's only natural that you scan with Webroot Spy Sweeper right after that :D
(just run it after all those and bazooka, I bet it will find and clean things the others didn't)
