A late introduction

Postby Owen on Wed Mar 09, 2005 12:40 am

I felt the same way as Cutter. I am new here and have not introduced myself. My name is Matthew, 36, and I live in Connectut, USA, and I am currnetly keeping a 75 gal. tank. I have had oscars before, but it has been a few years, and I find myself having to relearn a lot of the details. I am still cycling the monster, and have just 2 fellows now. I hope to add a placo and perhaps two blood parrots. Somthing like that. The O's are about 3 inches and don't have names yet. I also have an empty 20 gal sitting here, but am not sure what I am going to do with it yet. Anyway, I am married with a wife who has never had fish until she married me. We recently bought a house, and a few weeks ago I went to by a new lamp for my drafting table. She thought perhaps a stop at apet store would be more fun.... And now we have a new big tank. As much as I love Oscars, she has fallen for them big time.
They seem to be doing well, and we are excited.
Anyway, everyone here has been great, and I really appriciate (spelling?) the help. There sure is a lot to learn about them. I am looking forward to hearing about other O's. Thanks again for the info!!!

Great introduction.
Questions, comments, or concerns you know where to post them.
Did you manage to get a pic yet, I'll check the new ones out later in the photo contest, hope you can get one there, if you don't already!
