Okay you guys, i am now ready to get the fish. Give all the shopping advice you have! I'll probably get them sometime this weekend. I'll tell you don't worry!
I think one of you guys told me about putting like the electric yellows in first then wait awhile then change decor and then add the next fish and so on and so on. I pretty sure one of you told me.

Yeah, that was my advice, however you are now talking about keeping kribs. You probably ought to add your pair of kribs first, as they will be the least aggressive of the group. Then follow with your 3 yellows, then your kenyis. Just remember to monitor water conditions, and be prepared to do massive water changes. Also be sure to get some sort of bacterial addition for your tank. This will greatly improve your initial chances for success.
Good luck with your tank and have fun.

No, not quite. Ask at you're LFS about something that will jump-start biological filtration, that does it by a bacterial culture. Bio-zyme makes the best one I have come across. I advise against TLC, in my experience its expensive and ineffective.
If you can't find the kribs immediately its not such a bad thing, but you certainly need to add them before the kenyis. You will simply be best off if you do it in the order I said. Remember that an ounce of patience is worth a pound of cure.

Yes, basically. There are a bunch of different types. My favorite is biozyme, it comes in a small yellow container. It is a powder, instead of a liquid. Don't let your LFS sell you on a liquid product being automatically better, becuase chances are they are just trying to make a buck. Biozyme works fine. You can purchase it at Petco (about the only thing the store is good for:rolleyes: ). There are others on the market. There is one called TLC that is not as good as biozyme, but those two are the only ones I have experience with. Feel free to try any brand you like-I only suggest biozyme by experience. You do, however, need to have some sort of bacterial addition for your tank because of how you are going about setting it up.
