This guy is awesome. Thats like 50,000 free dollars. Did you read that he already made like $14,000 off of it? Thats hillarious.

Behold, the power of stupid people in large numbers.

I just thought someone else might be interested to see this...

But think about it...that guy has already made $15,000 (basically) for spending something around 30 minutes of programming. It took some guts, but wow.

I hear you. However, If I was with PETA, or some other orginization, the law suit would be filed all ready. Your right, he has some guts.
As PT Barnum said there is a sucker born every minuet.

I don't know...could PETA sue him? I mean, he will eat the rabbit, so its not technically cruelty...
It will be interesting to see what develops.

PETA's not all about cruelty, that’s why I thought of them. They are about the ethical treatment of animals. So if "Toby’s" a pet, is it ethical to eat him? That would be my legal question. If it was to get into a court debate. Anyhow, an interesting discussion, well off the topic of fish. Kind of curious what some of the other members here think about it. Glad you posted the link.
Where did you come across it anyhow?

Had another thought too. What if he doesn't reach his goal of $50,000.00. Won't he have to return the money, if he eats the rabbit?

I don't know. I guess he could say, well, I decided to use your money to do the best I can to save Toby, or something of the sort.
By the way, people eat their pets all of the time. My parents grew up outside of town, and would raise cattle, feed them by bottle, name them, and the whole nine yards, and then one night have 'em for dinner. PETA being for the ethical treatment of animals carries some weight though.
I found out about the sight from a friend at school.
Like I said, it should be interesting to see what happens.

(im a failed vegiterian... failed cos im lazy and cant cook, not cos i didnt believe)

what hes doing is ethically right. its his rabit, its being treat prefectly well, it seems happy and healthy enough and he obviously cares for it.

i seriously doubt he would even eat the rabit, its a con. but what a con. makes you laugh when you think about it.

and after all, its a rabit thats been treat very well, saved from death and lived the good life.

trust me, you want animal cruelty, check the peta websites.

some of the stuff just makes you think why

Been a while since I was there last. I noticed he was only around 18,000. I sent him a letter asking him how he planned on returning the donations if he doesn't reach his goal, and eats the rabbit.

that is histarical this guy is genius, and peta cannot sue him for eating rabbit i do it all the time. the fact that he healed does not make eating it cruel and ususual treatment of an animal cmon its a rabbit you'd have to be a retard to donate money to aguy who found a rabbit that had he not found it would be dead right now. ...And to all peta and other groups and people similar this deer burger is mighty good mmmm..
