Algae Eater?

Hey. Does anyone know of an algae eater that will gp well in an mbuna tank that has yellow labs and kenyis? Grows less than a foot?

bristlenose plecos would probally work well and they stay under 8 inches

Personally, I would not keep an algae eater in with your mbuna. It will be picked on, and the mbuna really appreciate algae. I like the look of algae on rocks, but my mom doesn't, so in my main display tank that has mbuna I have a common plecostamus. It will grow bigger than a foot. However, once it does, you should not have any problem selling it back to your Fish Store, as big plecostamuses (plecostamai) (sp?, lol) are in big demand with pond owners.

wait so you are saying that i can keep a pleco and... but the tank is not big enpugh for a pleco i don't thinki still haven't decided/ found a tank but for the time being i have a forty gallon
