Emperor 400

I just put a second Emperor 400 on my 55 gal tank to help with the bioload. Does anyone know how long it will take until the bacteria builds up on the biowheels and it starts to help? I understand this takes time but I'm not sure how long. Would it help if I put one of my old wheels in the new filter to give it a jump start?

I don't think you'll need to use the old wheel, since only the filter is new and not the water and the other filter is still in cultures should grow pretty quick. (Different times for various bacteria, some can proliferate in just a couple of minutes others may take 24 hours...)
