Saltwater Tank Setup

Postby Belle on Tue Dec 21, 2004 2:08 am

Hey all!

I am looking for info about setting up a saltwater tank. I want to start with 2 small clownfish and see how it goes. Can anyone give me some ideas/tips?

Should I start small? Is a 10 gallon okay? or should I go bigger?

Do clowns need an anenome? (Did I spell that right???LOL) Should I have one in the tank and established before I get the clowns?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated...thanks for reading!

Small can be done but if you new at it (especially salt) the bigger you go the eaier it is.

"Need" no but most of the time they do alot better with them.

tank - go as big as you can.
if you add an Anemone - add a protein skimmer - just to make filtering better.

Get some type of decient light

and add use live rock
