I am curious to know from all those members that have been affected recently by the hurricanes how did youre fish cope with all the power outtages etc and what actions/preventions you took. Also were there any lessons learnt on your actions and what if anything would you do different next time?

Well I know many people down there and most of them made it through just fine, they used generators to keep their tanks alive, but a few have lost all their corals(I keep saltwater).
I know ORA(a main supplier of salwater fish) had a lot of problem but they shipped out most their supply before the hurricane hit.

i feel sorry for u guys having to put up with hurricanes etc....in the u.k we dont have really bad weather.1 in about 10 yrs we have a bad storm.where i live anyways...

in scotland, no where near me they all lost power for about 4 weeks, and resently cornwall flooded.

time for america bashing now,

thats one thing i miss about the uk no hurricanes tornados none of that nasty stuff lol... im english and my dad lives in scotland so i know what youre both talking about
