I've got fry, what now?

Getting them to tango...

I've got fry, what now?

After the fifth try they finally got it right.
Every attempt was probably 2 to 3 weeks appart. They seemed to get more gentle as they learned.
There were 2 things that were different this time. I put black lake extract in tank, and I left the pocostumus in, so the tank was cleaner.
After the fry appeared it wasn't anymore then about 4 hrs until the parental current brushed them off and they are all over the bottom of the tank.
Is this okay?
More are still hatching. I have big pieces of shale scattered on the bottom of tank. Many of the fry under them in the gaps.
Appear to be eating tank waste or hanging on it?
I have been putting freeze dried bryn shrimp. I'm making live stuff but its not ready yet.
The female is still in. The male I took out when they scatter the fry all over the tank. He seemed beaten and stressed, but he's okay now. I took out the pocostumus when I took the male out.

Anything I should change or be doing for them?

Well, curious, did they survive or did parents eat them this time?

They did survive. Started out with 200 fry.
I left them in with their parents along time.
Down to just a handful of fish now,
but they are about 2 months old.
Seperated now and more eggs came yesterday.
