filter for the main rack - (central system)

70 gallon sump
60 gallon tower with -
- about 1/2 gallon worth of floss
- 5 gallons worth of sponge
- and just over 40 gallons worth of bioballs (once full)

beside the filter is the pump (4,860 gallons per hour)

inside the sump (filter) is a 2,000 watt titanium heater/heater controler unit.

on the back (not seen) is a small U.V. sterilizer.

Ground fault circuit outlets (outlets with built in breakers) were wired in (added) to plug all the new stuff into and make everything slightly safer.

If everything fits as planned this room (room 1) will have
21 - 45's
11 - 20's

(the above on central filtration)

and 10 - 75's (seperate systems)

with T-12/HO lighing run throughout the room from a cental switch of corse
- yes I'm getting lazy

so far ALOT of work and junk has gone into redoing this.

To give people an idea of whats involved if you want to make your own fish room(s)

here's what I've used (so far):
about 110 feet of different sizes of PVC
300 + pvc peices (Tee's,reducers,couplers,elbows,etc..)
48 valves (still need a few more )
2 gallons of paint (a few more when I paint the block walls)
2 - 8x4' sheets of 1" stryofoam (under the bottom tanks)
15 pounds of screws
200 feet of flexiable conduit (to wire the lighting)
2 - 20 amp circuit breakers (+ the ones previously there)
50 feet of flexiable conduit for the ground fault plugs (circuit breaker inside)
a buch of conduit connectors
3 rolls of electrical tape
1 can of liquid electrical tape (water proof connection)
electrical switches
the (drilled) 45 and 20 gallon tanks (I already had)
gravel (I already had)
10 - 75 gallon tanks
10 emporer 400's
2 - magnum H.O.T canister filters (the two discus tanks aren't on the central system either)
14 - 200 watt and up heaters ( a few I had,the rest were added)
1- 3/4 HP water pump
filter media
1 - u.v. sterilizer
1 - 2,000 watt titanium heater and controler system
1 - R/O - D/I water filter
2 - water filters (just to make it easier on the R/O)
2 - 55 gallon barrels to store R/O water
some plumbing parts to hook up the R/O and eventually auto changer(s)
+ a bunch of stuff I already had
and whatever else I forgot.

Hopefully it'll be worth it with an almost maintaince free fish room!

this pic ,is the drain I added for when water changes need to be done. It's 1 1/2" pipe so it empties out water pretty fast, empties right into the drain - no work involved (the way I like it ;) ) just open the valve.

I pretty much make (or did) a living out of it now ;)

I had tried to start a store, had everything planned out and ready but everything keeps getting SCREWED UP

Maybe in a year or two I'll get a decient sized store - I dunno

I tried this year and it's just been impossiable,I don't have the funds right now and haven't had the time.

So far this year has just sucked!
And now that my fish room was about 90% refinished it looks like I'll be tearing it down to move.

So far here's about how this year has went (short version)
- my 20 year old dog died in Feb (which sucked)
- spent alot of time feb-april with my grandma in the hopistal or taking my mom to dr.'s and hospitals
- THOUGHT things were straightened out somewhat-
so I took a vacation to meet some other people in the fish and reptile industry as well as find some sites to collect fish (fresh and saltwater)
-attepted to buy a large building (for the second time) in may and attempted to import some rare and wild caught cichlids, had things roughly set up for late may
-may 24th got news that SUPPOSELY my mom was in good health,so she decided she wanted to go in with me buying a building and running a store -
- so "we" ordered a large order of supplies , reptiles and wild texas cichlids may 24th which was delayed then canceled -
- my mom passed away on may 25th (yeah the day after she was told she was fine - which sucked)
- sold alot of my fish to make room to temporarely house/keep my moms birds (mostly large parrots)
- spent most of June and early July with my grandma at the hospital or makeing arangements for the birds.
-spent two weeks in july driving my dad around and etc.. after his surgery
- THOUGHT things were straightening out, started redoing my fish room in july and setting up some import shipments
- Had my fish room(s) ALMOST done
- was supposed to pick up the rest of my tanks july 23rd
- was supposed to pick up some rare boas and lizards for breeding purposes july 24th
-and recieve a large shipment of piranhas and cichlids july 26th or 27th (depending on flight times)
- Then (did I say this year sucks? ) my grandma passed away july 23rd and her funeral will now be on the 26th with burial on the 27th.

Somewhere in the middle of this mess,I was also supposed to get sentanced - opps I mean married ;) which was posponed,canceled/whatever

This has taken up all of my time and most of my cash (amazing what a funeral costs) so I definately won't be doing much for a while.

Next = the legal mess and who knows how long or how much time that'll take up

This might also anwser some questions for some of the people who message or email me. I just haven't had alot of time to anwser many questions in detail and haven't had alot of time to be on the forums.

Also for people who have emailed me or messaged me - I still will have ALOT of stuff for sale - used = aquariums, filters, heaters and more ALL CHEAP just not sure yet when I'll be around .
I might even sell all the new stuff I just got for my fish room, not posative on that as of yet though.

thanks

as far as luck,I'm just writeing this year off, just can't win.

today the funeral
tommorow (today it is now I guess) the lawyers

then it looks like I'll probally be moving

well one year my fish room might get done but for now it looks doubtful.

Seriously considering selling everything if anyone is seriously interested contact me via email,rock2ujabroni@hotmail.com I'll consider any reasonable offers over $10,000.00
nothing wrong with any of it,I'm just sick of playing the rearangeing and catch up on maintance game.

I'd be pickup ONLY in northwest ohio and includes:
over 100 tanks
alot of newer equipment
probally $6,000 or so worth of fish (cichlids and piranhas)
wholesale contact info
exporter contact info
enough stuff to start breeding,a store or wholesale business
other fish equipment
office type equipment (scales,PC,fax,etc....)
really just to much to list.

Have NO interest in seperating anything, either it all goes or it all stays
