albino is in bad way, need help

Postby holleo on Sat Jul 17, 2004 5:22 am

hi gang, need some good advice. i recently brought home a 1.5in albino oscar who shares a 50 gal setup with a 6in plec and 2 3in clown loaches. the problem is he is being picked on by the other fish, they have always done it to fish smaller than themselves but i thought oscars being notoriously tough would take it. im thinking of moving him to my fiances 20 gal comunity setup untill he gets a little larger, then try him back in the bigger tank is this wise ................................................:D

he might try to attack the other fish in the 20g depending on what kind they are.

You might try putting in a divider, untill the O grows a bit. In a comunity tank he might just decide his tank mates look like dinner. In a month or so, he should be big enough to take care of himself.
