Fish ID

Picked this up yesterday -- Never seen one like it before. LFS had no idea what is is, beyond some sort of algae eater. Gray or slate-blue body, with gold head & fins. Just over an inch long right now.

Never mind. Apparently a selectively bred color variant on Chinese Algae Eater. Recently back in the hobby after many years away. Not yet used to all these designer colors.

it looks a like an albino sucking loach (i think chinnese algae eaters another name for it right??)

be carefull with them if you have broad sided fish, they have a nasty habit of sucking them dry.

i lost a disus to one when i was a lad i think...
