Hey birchy, what have you figured out? you need to keep the breeding tank the same as the first tank on PH. As for temperature it is always higher than 'normal say at 26-27c But not higher than 28.9c. ( I have a chart on temp differences to help ME on some forums) And you start the fish IN the breeding tank, Not wait till they Become Preg to move them. That stresses them and they might eat the eggs. When the fry (babies) get 3-4 weeks old, you move mom and dad to the other tank. Now this is how I do my South and Central Americans. it's easier to move the parents than 100+ fry.. You have more females so you can do a divider when the fry go "Free Swim" which means they are all over the tank! what else do you need to know?
