hey well i am new to cichlids and have a chipoka peacock that i will breed i am getten him 2 females tomorro
is there any pointer i can get like how to catch the female
what to feed the babies how long to wait do i let her spit or will i catch her and shake her or what eva plaes help me out i will be getten by breeding tank next week then hopefully babies

I have always preferd to let the mama raise the babies. It's kinda stressful for the female to have the babies taken from her. After she spits the fry, just feed them brine shrimp or fine crushed flake.

Hey Birchy, Wlcome to the site! Sorry didn't see this till now. I checked out some sites for you on your Chipoka Peacocks. their scientic name is Aulonocara Stuargranti. the site will tell you what you need to know and help you decide on many aspects of these fish. Stillearnin is knowlegable in African ( i think) and will give you great advice. So check this site out:
