hi can anyone help me please ive got a tank full of electricblues and yellow labs. ive just discovered two little baby blues. i have managed to catch them and put them into a breeding tank inside my tank.is this the right thing to do so that the other fish dont eat them. also how long do i keep them there and how can you tell the females from the males and how to tell if they are pregnant any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

You're referring to Sciaenochromis fryeri and Labidochromis caeruleus right? those bright blue males loiter around the red light district, love a good harem. o yea what do you mean about pregnant, they are mouth brooders from what I know.

thanks for your reply joe:) they are called labidochromis caeruleus but how can you tell if they have a mouthfull of young and what should you do with the young when they come out is it best to seperate them into a breeding tank
