A: Haplocromis sp. Obiquedens(anybody know how these are classified since they apparently never made it into the hobby)

I heard it's getting a little better but that discussion is for another thread in another area. ;-)

Is anyone else trying to breed Victorians
From the few people I talk to that have actually made it to see the area or who import from there it seems there are quit a few farms set up there now that catch wild cichlids - breed them then restock 80% and sell off 20%,then start the cycle over - thats supposeldy the only legal way fish can be exported now - but enforcement supposedly isn't going to well.they should take what's left from the lake before it's totally dead and breed them for reintroduction if/when they ever get it straightened out
what are you looking for ? theres a few people locally but it's pretty much a limited variety and they're not to cheapVictorians or know of a good place online to get them?
theres about 5 stores locally that have victorians from time to time cheap too but alot of the local breeders say they're either cross bred or mislabeled

The other one in that tank may well be a male, but I'm not taking any chances so I've ordered another six adults. They will arrive tomorrow
I also plan to add my other nine juvenile kuhlis to that tank whenever I catch them
Last month I bought four juvenile Flash panaques to go with my adult male and I picked up a male Tiger Peckoltia to go with my female peckoltia, so I've got a good selection of potential breeders in my pleco tanks, although it may well take a lot longer to get off the ground than my cichlid breeding projects.
