Well, At lest i have some experience with babie fish. Unfortunatly these are going to be CONVICTS!! Mean little dudes and dudetts of the tank. And i totaly had to redue the 55 gal. grow out tank. So a pair of Jacks and a bachelor Green terror went in to the 125 gal tank tonite. That was a big deal for the monsters to check out these little 3" guys. Luckily not one tryed to eat any one, and I made them a cave to go to if trouble came along. And of course the Female Midas had to try and take over the cave, but she did'nt like being on her side and gave up. So now their is a divider on 1/4 of the 55 gal. that has their cave and the eggs are inside on the rock. And here I thought I had 3 females. i new something was up when they chased everyone away that got to close to the cave. What a deal!

Ok, here is the female guarding the Eggs. the eggs are above her head on the rock. They will hatch wed, Jan 7, 04.
up-date- Jan.10. No fry! They ate the eggs Maybe next time
