pics of Fry

No i can't get the digital to focas in on something so small, I'v tryed numoruse times and it s a no go. they are so fragil at this stage. i rescued these guys-gals from the filter box. so yes you can save them once the eggs get sucked up in the box. i took the filters out on day 3,put in a tub with aquai. water and had so many babies that i had to put in a divider so they can have a fraction of the 55 gal with mom and dad. the others that are on the other side are food for the small skubunkins that i have. Can't rescue them all. I think I have about 50, so that will be plenty. O and Mom is worn out and dad is wanting to chase more!! figures.

Ok, well some pictures of the 'parents' wouldn't hurt until the fry get big enough for your camera to focus properly, or get a better camera :)

Well, the white guy is about 6" and the Black Mom is the same. the orange one is 4" and my pretty fancy at the end is 5", which is the one I want babies from. But nature always gets first dibs on life. I'll just have to wait. I have another one like her to tango her with. Here's the whole tank :)

Well soon after this ordeal, The white male got sores all over him and a HUGE one on his front flipper. You can make it out in the group shot. Treated him w/Melafix for 1 wek. most of the ulsers on his left side are gone, the flipper sore is healing, but the sores on his right side are still their. I call them ulsers because they got tall and had a cap on them. Here is a pic of the out break.

Not sure what those are, guess payback from his bachelor days ;)
Actually I didn't really have any experience with goldfish other than feeding them to my oscars :( I heard of breeding them only in ponds since supposedly people said they breed when they get real big etc...nice pic with the babies, try and post some pics regularly detailing their growth, that would be cool.

yes, I don't know what they are either. Most of his scales are gone due to that Kissing Gouramie from a year ago. he never got any back. I figured chasing the female around and running into the power heads. Gold fish breed different from other fish. the male chases her and she will do a run and go to the surface and twist the eggs out, and the male will do the same and seed the eggs. It's something to watch. I have most on pics. but its quite a few. I tryed to post on a yahoo pond site but no one was intrested. Its a female 'click' chat line. hate those. the frys are getting big. their are two batches. one week apart. their are about 30. I sit with a magnifying glass and watch them. good thing my Neibour has a big pond. :) will post pics soon.
