I just recently decided that I wanted to start a small salt water tank. I have a 20 gallon that's free and would like to put something intresting in it. I know that 20 gallon is small but I'm sure it could work with maybe 2 clowsn and a little liverock. I am comletely dumb as to salt water works thoguh. could someone give me the for dummies version of how to take my old guppy breading tank and turn it into a Clown tank.

first thing you need to do is go to a Barnes & Noble and get "Saltwater Aquariums for Dummies". That book taught me so much when I first started. There is so much to a salt tank that you need to read, you can't be told it.
Also be prepared to spend a decent amount of money, a saltwater tank is NOT cheap. the rock alone will probably run you about $100.
